Undercurrent - Live party band

Welcome to Undercurrent........

Undercurrent are a live, six-piece party band, available for weddings, corporate events, parties and celebrations.

The band have a wealth of experience in playing live music, and aim to keep guests on the dance floor from the first song of the night to the last. The music is played entirely live, without the use of backing tracks, and includes hits from the 60's right through to the present day.

The band is also available with a DJ/Disco set-up, and can therefore offer clients a full musical entertainment package in one convenient booking. This will often be cheaper than booking bands and DJs separately, as we use the same sound and light systems for both, and it will also take up less space at your venue.

Undercurrent are fully self-contained, with lights and PA. An engineer attends all events to ensure the sound is perfect for your venue, whatever the size or location.

The band is covered by full public liability insurance. Bookings with clients are confirmed by the exchange of standard contracts in advance.

21/06/2008 -Towcester Wedding

Congratulations to Hannah and Ben, who celebrated their wedding with an evening reception in a marquee on their farm near Towcester. Undercurrent and DJ Mozzarella led the celebrations, and the guests danced all evening until the rescue services turned up with their dinghies and rowed them all back to the Travelodge for some after hours brandy. 07/06/2008 - Party in North Staffs

Undercurrent played at the Silver anniversary celebrations for David and Claire, who welcomed family and friends to their farm venue for a great party in a marquee.

10/05/2008 - Sharnbrook Hotel

A beautiful day and a beautiful venue for the wedding celebrations of Derek and Amanda. Undercurrent delighted the guests, keeping the dancefloor packed on a hot and humid evening.

03/05/2008 - Greetham Valley Wedding

Undercurrent played to a lively audience, to celebrate the wedding of Tom and Clare, at the beautiful venue of Greetham Valley Golf Course. New 2008 songs were introduced into the set for the first time and went down a treat. The guests were treated to a fantastic fireworks display to end off the night.

29/03/2008 - Casino Fun

Undercurrent played again at the Gala Casino in Northampton. The punters sang their way along to some cracking new songs in the set for the first time. We're on a break now from this venue for a couple of months, but hope to return again in the Summer.

16/02/2008 - Valentine's Ball

Undercurrent played their new 2008 sets to guests of the Greens Norton School PTA, at this fund-raising Valentine's Ball at Whittlebury Hall near Towcester.

31/01/2008 - Aylesbury fun

Undercurrent played to a lively bunch of punters at one of their favourite venues - the Victoria Club in Aylsebury. Spirits were high after the long long month of January, because people had been paid!! Yeah. Sadly, once again, the night finished too soon.

06/01/2008 - New Year News

Undercurrent have had a busy Christmas and New Year, playing at ten different parties and events over the festive period. The sleigh bells were brought out of retirement and the usual crowd pleasers were accompanied by some new Christmas numbers. Our next appearance is at the Victoria Club in Aylesbury at the end of January, so why not come along and join us to dance off some of those Christmas calories!

Undercurrent are travelling all over Northamptonshire during December, celebrating Christmas with various different companies and organisations.

27/10/2007 - Congratulations to Ben and Anna

Ben and Anna celebrated their wedding with a great reception at Rushton Hall. Undercurrent filled the dancefloor (yet again) from start to finish, supported by DJs Brie and Gruyere, straight off the cheeseboard. Crackers!

26/10/2007 - V8 Trophy Awards

Undercurrent played at the end of season awards ceremony for the UK V8 Trophy drivers and teams. This is the UKs equivalent to the NASCAR series, and the event was a huge success as the guests enjoyed vidoes of the past season and handed out trophies to the winners. Undercurrent finished the event off by keeping the dancefloor groovin' until the recovery trucks turned up to take everyone upstairs to their rooms.

07/10/2007 - Wedding at Harrowden Hall.

Sunday evening at Harrowden Hall in Northamptonshire for the Wedding of Lauren and Craig. A very special venue for a very special occasion! Undercurrent were invited to play at this prestigious venue after the happy couple had seen the Band play previously at another venue. Once again the guests filled the dancefloor when the Band took to the stage and danced the night away. The happy couple even took time to personally thank us before heading off on honeymoon!

06/10/2007 - Hellidon Lakes Hotel Daventry

A fantastic venue for Undercurrent to play at a "James Bond" themed fundraising event !
Everyone had a great evening and the dancefloor was packed from start to finish . The Band were once again supported by our very own DJ Wensleydale who played in between the 'live' sets. Many thanks to the organisers for asking us to play and for looking after us so well on the night! A great night all round!
